How To Hand-Make A Bracelet?
A Charm Bracelet can serve as a great gift for someone special. On special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries, charm bracelets can make the beloved one smile.
But have you ever thought of hand-making a Charm Bracelet? It may be even more meaningful.
Hand- making bracelets can be something fun and by personalizing it, you can actually make the other person feel very special.
In this article, we will teach you how to make a bracelet step by step.
1st - Purchase the beads and charms
To get things started, first of all you need to purchase some beads and charms. You may also need a pair of scissors and some wires or strings. Depending on the kind of bracelets you are making, you may need different kind of beads. Beads can be made of wood, metal, plastic, or glass etc. If it's a bracelet for man, it's smart to use darker colors. The price of beads varies a lot as well.
2nd - Place a sheet under your charms and beads
Once you have purchased different types of beads and charms, the next step is to assemble them together. You can put the beads in a container on a flat surface. This will prevent them from rolling all over the place.
3rd - Cutting the wire required
Before cutting off the wire, make sure the length of the wire will be suitable for the person who is going to wear the bracelets. To long of the wire will make the bracelets look dragging or even falling out. Too short will be obviously problematic as well. The recommended length of the wire should be 2 inch longer than the circumference of the wearer's wrist.
4th – Put everything together.
Now here is the final step. Wrap one end of the wire around and make a knot. Place a crimp bed below the toggle and make the tail secure on it. Flatten the crimp and cut the wire as close to the crimp bed as possible.
Put in the beads and the charms till they reach the end of the wire. Tuck the wire in and tighten the pliers. Finally cut the tail evenly and your bracelet is ready.
